LOGIC allows children to live with the consequences of their choices.

Anger Management

The goals of the anger management group are to understand how anger is problematic in relationships, particularly with children and spouses/partners; to learn to manage anger; to stop violence or the threat of violence; to develop self-control over thoughts and actions; and to receive feedback and support from others in order to develop healthier relationships where the focus is on the needs of self and others.

The anger management class is divided into six sessions lasting approximately two hours. Classes are held at the Cecil County Circuit House at 170 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. All classes are held on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. All facilitators are employed by Upper Bay Counseling, licensed by the State of Maryland and have experience with anger management programs.

This program is offered for those who have been court ordered to take anger management to satisfy the court as well as others who have been encouraged to participate in an anger management program.

Each participant must complete an initial assessment and six sessions at $60 each for a total of $420.  Payment in full of $360 (a savings of $60) can be made at the time of the assessment or the option to make weekly payments of $60 is also available.  The program is not covered by any insurance plan.

For more information, contact the Office of Organizational Development at 410-996-3401 ext. 1201
