  • Nurse Practitioner (Cecil County)

    UBCSS is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management, nursing, case management, and clinical services to individuals and their families. These services would occur within the UBCSS facility and at designated community locations. Requirements of this position include timely submission of all authorizations prior to the delivery of clinical services and documentation of all clinical services within one (1) business day of delivery. Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with a Psychiatry specialty (CRNP-P) and/or Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Psychiatric Mental Health (APRN/PMH). Should also have a minimum of two (2) years prior mental health experience.

    Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services (UBCSS) is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric oversight of all clinical services provided by programs serving clients with more serious and persistent mental illness. This is a senior professional position with direct service and some administrative responsibilities. The Psychiatrist functions as an advanced clinical practitioner in the delivery of psychiatric care to patients and consumers. The Psychiatrist must possess very strong organizational skills, precise documentation and record-keeping skills, and the ability to work with diverse staff and varied program needs, extremely high levels of confidentiality and professionalism, good judgment and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment. Minimum Requirements: Must be licensed to practice as a Psychiatrist in the State of Maryland. Child and Adult experience preferred.

    UBCSS is hiring a full time Co-occurring disorders therapist to work in our out-patient mental health clinics. Duties include providing integrated co-occurring treatment to caseload of clients and supervision of staff working towards co-occurring disorders certifications in two locations. Candidate must be a licensed mental health professional in the State of Maryland (e.g. Psychologist, clinical social workers- certified, professional counselor- certified, clinical nurse specialists, etc.) and certified by IC&RC as a Co-Occurring Disorders Professional. 2 years experiences as a clinical supervisor preferred.

  • Co-Occurring Therapist/ Coordinator (Cecil County)

    UBCSS is seeking a full time licensed Clinical Coordinator for the Rte 40 Office. This is a clinical supervisor position charged with providing effective, responsive, clinical oversight for the division. The Clinical Coordinator provides direct clinical supervision to staff and clinical supervision to the programs in the division. The Clinical Coordinator will complete the chart audits for the division monthly with the collaboration of the therapists. This candidate will provide clinical leadership, support, and clinical training to Division staff to ensure that clients receive the most appropriate and professional clinical care, support and interventions possible within the Division system of services. The Clinical Coordinator will maintain a caseload of clients providing individual and family therapy. The Clinical Coordinator must be familiar with COMAR, HIPPA and State regulations as they pertain to children services. Candidate must have a Maryland license (LCSW-C, LCPC) in Mental Health. Also, Two (2) years clinical supervision experience and co-occurring disorders treatment preferred.

  • School Based Therapist (1-Full time Cecil County)

    UBCSS is seeking licensed School Based Therapists to provide individual, family and group therapy to children and adolescents.† The school based mental health therapists will provide direct ser≠vices in the school setting and may also see clients in an outpatient setting. The therapists must be able to develop treatment plans and maintain required documentation.† Must be proficient with a computer and have some knowledge of an electronic health record.   • Residential Behavioral Assistants - Sunrise (2 Positions, Several Shifts, Full Time)

    UBCSS is seeking a Residential Behavioral Assistant for the Sunrise Residential Rehab Program. This candidate will provide daily identification/monitoring of residential houses for safety and cleanliness and teach appropriate hygiene skills when needed. This candidate will also assist with meal planning and preparation, implementation of recreation, social and individual community outings to meet residential needs. The person in this position will have use of agency vehicles to accompany residents to appointments in the community as needed. Some appointments may warrant driving on the highway, distances may vary. A valid driverís license and a good driving record are mandatory. Candidates must have a Bachelorís degree and at least one (1) year of experience in the mental health, human services or social services field, residential experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills with emphasis on emotional maturity needed. Good written and oral communication skills are necessary. This position requires the candidate to have the ability to be organized, multitask, and work well under pressure. Computer literacy is a must! Shifts are: 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, 3pm-11pm. Candidates will work various weekends and holidays as scheduled.

These positions will be responsible for cleaning the bathrooms, kitchens, vacuuming, and cleaning office spaces and common areas of either/or both office locations. Cleaning experience is preferred.   • Engagement Specialist Part Time (Cecil County)

    Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services (UBCSS) is seeking a part time Engagement Specialist to work with Cecil and Hartford outpatient programs under the direction of the Front Office Manager. In this newly created position the representative will contact clients who have missed two consecutive treatment sessions in a quarter, to identify motivation for treatment and/or the barriers impacting treatment attendance and compliance. The candidate will review their findings with respective program managers and establish a plan to eliminate or reduce controllable therapeutic barriers such as transportation, service time of day to re-engage and resume clientís participation in individualized therapy or readiness groups. Candidate will also monitor client attendance and commitment. A bachelorís degree in human services or counseling field is required and a minimum of (2) years experience working directly with consumers and families in a mental health setting is required. Must be outgoing, professional and possesses an engaging demeanor.

  • Custodial Care Specialist Part Time-Various Day/Weekends (Cecil County)

    UBCSS is seeking to hire a Custodial Care Specialist for the Sunrise Residential Rehab Program. This candidate must have the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for the residential rehabilitation clients. The Custodial Specialist will perform a variety of cleaning duties such as washing windows, walls, cleaning floors, picking up trash, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms and other duties as assigned. This candidate should know how to work independently and be proactive in recognizing areas that need to be cleaned without consistent prompting from Supervisor. The person in this position should be familiar with public safety and security policies and be able to work with cleaning equipment and know appropriate cleaning techniques. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and at least one (1) year of experience in commercial cleaning. Experience in a residential setting is a plus. Good interpersonal and time management skills are needed. Good written and oral communication skills are necessary. A good driving record is required.

  • Office Cleaning Staff Person Part Time 20 Hours (Cecil County)

    Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services (UBCSS) is seeking a part time (20 Hr) Office Cleaning staff person to perform office cleaning functions and supervise trainees at 2 Cecil County clinic offices. Duties include:Maintain offices in a sanitary and infection free condition; Operate mechanical cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and carpet shampooers; washing and cleaning of furnishings; disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials; schedule major quarterly tasks and needs to damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, door jams and window sills; . Empty trash containers and wet-mop floors in all common areas and bathrooms as needed or at a minimum 2x weekly. Minimum of 1 year house or office cleaning experience , reliable and hardworking; Must have good interpersonal skills to get along with other people.

  • Home Health Nurse Care Manager (Part Time) Cecil County

    PT Health Home nurse (RN) needed to provide health home services in Cecil County. The Nurse provides oversight of the coordination of health home activities of UBCSS identified clients and provides oversight of the medical needs of the programís clients. Coordinates the health home treatment services with internal support such as Residential Rehabilitation and Psychiatric Rehabilitation. In addition, coordinates treatment with PCPs and specialists as well as the pharmacies involved in the care of the programís clients. The population that this RN will work with are adults with a serious and persistent mental illness that are in treatment at UBCSS. Requirements of this position are the ability to work in a fast paced environment and exceptional organizational skills. Licensed or license eligible as a nurse by the State of Maryland.

  • Residential Case Manager 10am Ė 6pm (Various days, including weekends and holidays as needed)

    The primary focus of the Residential Case Manager is to assist consumers by facilitating linkage to mental health, medical, social, financial, educational, and other support services. The candidate in this position will identify and provide appropriate treatment interventions to help consumers integrate effectively into community living. Some of the responsibilities include developing treatment goals with consumers, attending treatment team meetings, advocating on behalf of consumers with outside agencies and medical personnel, medication monitoring, and other duties as assigned. The candidate must have strong written, organizational and communication skills and know how to multitask efficiently. This is a fast paced environment and requires a person to be able to work well under pressure. Computer literacy and a good driving record is a must. Educational Requirements BA/BS in Social Services, Human Services or Psychology. Prior experience with Mental Health consumers preferred.

"Candidates must be able to work as part of a team to coordinate care with our psychiatry staff, CMAs, outpatient therapists, and administrative staff.
