  • Nurse Practitioner (Cecil County)

    UBCSS is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management, nursing, case management, and clinical services to individuals and their families. These services would occur within the UBCSS facility and at designated community locations. Requirements of this position include timely submission of all authorizations prior to the delivery of clinical services and documentation of all clinical services within one (1) business day of delivery. Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with a Psychiatry specialty (CRNP-P) and/or Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Psychiatric Mental Health (APRN/PMH). Should also have a minimum of two (2) years prior mental health experience.


  • Psychiatrist Child/Adult

    Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services (UBCSS) is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric oversight of all clinical services provided by programs serving clients with more serious and persistent mental illness. This is a senior professional position with direct service and some administrative responsibilities. The Psychiatrist functions as an advanced clinical practitioner in the delivery of psychiatric care to patients and consumers. The Psychiatrist must possess very strong organizational skills, precise documentation and record-keeping skills, and the ability to work with diverse staff and varied program needs, extremely high levels of confidentiality and professionalism, good judgment and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment. Minimum Requirements: Must be licensed to practice as a Psychiatrist in the State of Maryland. Child and Adult experience preferred.

  • Co-Occurring Therapist/ Coordinator (Cecil & Harford Counties)

    UBCSS is hiring a full time Co-occurring disorders therapist to work in our out-patient mental health clinics. Duties include providing integrated co-occurring treatment to caseload of clients and supervision of staff working towards co-occurring disorders certifications in two locations. Candidate must be a licensed mental health professional in the State of Maryland (e.g. Psychologist, clinical social workers- certified, professional counselor- certified, clinical nurse specialists, etc.) and certified by IC&RC as a Co-Occurring Disorders Professional. 2 years experiences as a clinical supervisor preferred.

The Job Coach must possess very strong organizational and computer skills, precise documentation and record- keeping skills, an ability to work with a diverse staff and must possess good judgment and problem Ė solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks. Additionally the Job Coach must possess the ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and a fast learner and thinker. This person must have the ability to give and receive feedback, Job Coach Will provided both on and off site services. Job Coach must be willing to work a Flexible schedule. "Candidate must have a Bachelorís degree in human service, mental health or related field. Experience in a vocational setting is preferred. Bachelors Degree in Human Sciences or 2 years of Professional Job Coaching experience Good interpersonal skills with emphasis on emotional maturity, written and oral communication skills. Candidate should have a valid driverís license and current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic First Aid and CPI will be provided and must be completed within the designated timeframe for continued employment. Certifications must be maintained and updates/changes in course requirements must be adopted positively.


  • Outpatient Therapist - Full-Time (Havre de Grace)

    Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services (UBCSS) is seeking a full time licensed therapist to work with children, adolescents and/or the adult population providing individual and family therapy in an outpatient clinic setting. Opportunities to run group therapy are also available. Candidates must be able to work as part of a team to coordinate care with our psychiatry staff, CMAs, rehabilitative counselors and administrative staff. Applicants should be organized, able to use electronic medical health records, and able to work independently. UBCSS accepts most major insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, private insurances and EAPs. Clinical supervision is provided. Requirements: Maryland licensed Mental Health Professional.


  • Child Mental Health Therapist - Full-Time (Booth Street)

    UBCSS is seeking licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide individual, family and group therapy to a varied caseload of children and their families. The mental health therapist will provide direct services in an office setting. The Therapist must be able to develop treatment plans and maintain required documentation. Must be proficient with a computer and have some knowledge of an electronic health record. Should have experience with children and families; excellent organizational skills; the ability to prioritize duties and able to work autonomously. Candidates must be Maryland licensed Mental Health Professional. Clinical supervision is provided. Preferred candidates will have an LCSW-C/LCPC and/or experience serving those with mental health.


  • Community Support Specialist/Supervisor-MH Case Mgmt - Part-Time (5 Hours) (Booth St)

    Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services is seeking a part time (5 hours a week) Maryland licensed mental health professional to clinically supervise the Mental Health Case Management Program. This is a clinical supervisor position charged with providing effective, responsive, clinical oversight for the program. This position provides direct clinical supervision to staff. The Community Support Specialist Supervisor will complete the chart audits for the program monthly. In addition, this person will review and sign off on referrals, progress notes, monthly summaries, and service plans. This candidate will provide clinical leadership, support, and clinical training to staff to ensure that clients receive the most appropriate and professional clinical care, support and interventions possible. Candidate must be a Maryland licensed Mental Heath Professional. Must have prior experience in clinical supervision of staff.

  • Development Administrative Assistant - Full-Time (Cecil County)

    Upper Bay Counseling is looking for a full-time Development Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to Organizational Development Department, agency, staff, “friends of UBCSS’, donors, sponsors, referral sources and community members with regard to fundraising events and efforts, marketing material production, agency web based marketing, department administrative support, fundraising, financial and data base management, agency community education program management, and computer expertise. The Development Administrative Assistant must possess strong organizational skills, excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, Power Point ( experience with Fundraiser Pro software is a plus), precise documentation and record-keeping skills, experience with fundraising management, data base management, financial management skills, high levels of confidentiality and professionalism, good judgment and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment. Additionally, the Development Administrative Assistant must possess the ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and a fast learner and thinker. This person must have the ability to give and receive feedback and must be able to understand, embrace, support and promote the true goals and mission of the organization. Requirements: high school diploma, higher level of education preferred. A plus, website maintenance knowledge.


  • Intake Therapist - Part-Time (20 Hours) (Havre de Grace)

    UBCSS is seeking a Part time licensed therapist to work within the Intake department primarily Harford County but may have to cover Cecil County on a as needed bases. Providing diagnostic and assessment ser¬vices; conducting appropriate screening and assessment of adults, adolescent and children who are experiencing psychiatric or behavioral health related issues. Candidates must be able to work as part of a team to coordinate care with UBCSS clinical staff. Applicants should be energetic, organized, able to use an electronic medical health record and able to work independently. Must have MD Licensure, LCSW-C, LCPC, an LGPC may be considered based on experience.
