Bay Counseling welcomes Diana Rudolph as Honorary Chair for fall event
Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services, Inc. is pleased to announce
that Diana Rudolph, Principal of Rising Sun Middle School, will serve as the
Honorary Chair for its 5th Annual Holiday Benefit Gathering, The
event this year features great food, a party-like atmosphere, and a silent
auction with more than 2 dozen unique items. This year’s “Holiday Benefit”
will take place at the Chesapeake Inn in Chesapeake City from 6:00 to 9:00
pm on November 30.
“I’m happy to be the Honorary Chair for this event,” Rudolph said,
“because this year the proceeds will benefit Upper Bay’s children’s
programs. As a school principal, I’m familiar with how effective the Upper
Bay counselors can be at helping students who have emotional or behavior
problems, and how well the counselors work with the students’ families.”
Rudolph has been the principal at Rising Sun Middle School for the past
two years and, for nine years prior to that, she was the principal at
Perryville Middle School. She has worked with Upper Bay’s school-based
therapists on many occasions and has been pleased with the results.
Upper Bay Counseling offers a full spectrum of mental health services to
residents in Cecil and Harford counties in Maryland, and also provides
adoption services in all three counties in Delaware. The programs that will
benefit from this fundraiser include: School-based therapy, therapeutic day
programs for children and adolescents, medication evaluation through a
licensed child psychiatrist, outpatient therapy for children and
adolescents, family therapy, after-school programs, summer activity
programs, and consulting services for pre-school and daycare providers.
Tickets for the holiday benefit this year are available for a $75
donation per person. Also a few sponsorship opportunities are still
available. Contact Melanie Graybeal at 410-620-7161 or mgraybeal@upperbay.org
