Be There Certificate framework Sessions

Many parents and students in our community want to support someone who may be struggling with their mental health, but aren’t always sure what to say, how to help, or when to step in.

At Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services, we see this every day.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Born This Way Foundation and Greenspace Health to bring a free, practical session to our community, introducing the Be There Certificate framework.

This session is designed to give you real, actionable tools, where you’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize when a young person may be struggling
  • Start conversations in a way that feels safe and supportive
  • Show care through both words and actions
  • Set healthy boundaries while helping someone
  • Know when and how to connect them to additional support

🗓 Session for Parents: April 20th at 6 PM EST – Registration (weblink)

🗓 Session for Students: April 21st at 6 PM EST – Registration (weblink)

Whether you’re a parent/guardian, educator, or student, there’s a session for you that will help you feel more confident supporting the young people around you.
